It all began in 2014 with one man and a dream.

Kapila Phoenix moved to Willits in 2007, from the Bay Area, where he was born and raised.
He found the community to be warm and welcoming.
He searched for a way to give back to the community that had embraced him.
Diverse restaurant choices in town were lacking.
Kapila decided to open the only Sicilian/Italian Restaurant in town.
The goal was, and continues to be, consistently providing quality food to both locals and travelers.
Also, giving young people opportunities to learn kitchen skills while gaining work experience.
La Siciliana Restaurant opened on October 31, 2014 .

Great lunch stop!
We really enjoyed our stop at La Siciliana. It is entirely worth the short detour off highway 101. The pastas and sauces are freshly made by a skillful chef who cares about the quality of his food, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable.
